disorder boutique | look 3

basic top - Lindex, trousers, scarf, coat - Disorder Boutique, stilettos - Reiss

never be afraid of trying new things! or in this case, trying on men's trousers. I spotted these ones almost a year ago and they're still in my sight. look amazing on men (as seen in one on my shoots) and fit quite well on ladies, too. combine them with elegant stilettos and red lips - no one will ever notice that you've robbed your boyfriends closet.

even if it's Monday, even if you're crying, even if you're sad

disorder boutique | look 2

hello you there! I'm getting into all the festive stuff more and more. couple of weeks ago I've visited Disorder Boutique and picked my favorite pieces from their new collection. this black top/dress is definitely the one to get for the New Year's Eve. you will not be missed wearing this. queen of the night status guarantee!

choices | bring in some sparkle

earrings - ZARA, top - Lindex, bag - STUDIO KAROLINA

usually I'm not the first one thrilled about the idea of upcoming Christmas, but seeing those colorful lights everyday makes it hard to resist. so I gave in. I'm bringing in some sparkle! it is a party season after all. be prepared to spot more festive looks on blog and enjoy this time of the year - it's not gonna last forever!

earrings - COS, scarf and vest - YOINS, coat - Paul Costelloe, suede clutch - DIY, shorts - second hand

I'm pretty sure that's the most colorful you'll ever see me. autumn leaves inspired me to go out of the black zone and put on some warm shades. cause it really is a season of color,

in a mood for muse-hunting

never-ending inspiration source.
I found out about SHOWstudio at around 15 years of age and it's still my number one when talking about fashion videos. Nick Knight is a visual genius.

the look of 20151027 | drizzling

nights get dark and lips get red

the look of 20151017 | flared

flared jeans - Lindex, stilettos - Reiss, hardware bracelet - STUDIO KAROLINA, earrings - diy, oversized sweater - second hand, bag - L.CREDI

what else could put one in a perfect laid-back weekend mode than a great pair of classic flared jeans. I got these from Lindex, couldn't be more satisfied!

ankle boots - & other stories, gloves -GANNI,  tunic - Lindex, ribbed pants - Lindex

the beautiful autumn is definitely here, so let's add more knits to our wardrobes! and gloves, it is pretty cold outside.

new in

no no no, there's no such thing as too many stilletos. I'm a lady, you know.
these are from Reiss, although I purchased them from Trine, who did here wardrobe clearance just a week ago. I was always a cheerleader for recycling and reusing, so let's innocently consider buying this pair as saving the planet act.

the look of 20150928 | everyday

boots - Danija, dress - Lindex, collar - diy

this  black Lindex dress I got the other month is definitely going to be one of the most wearable pieces this season. perfectly shaped, perfectly cut and takes an edge of a little bit too. oh and it's black.
yesterday I wore it together with high brown leather boots and my new favorite everyday accessory - a black knitted collar. 15 years ago my mum used to force me to wear those collars all the time to keep my neck warm. I hated it. now I voluntarily cut the collar of one of my turtle neck sweaters the other day and wear it daily since then. who would thought.

H&M STUDIO AW 15/16 | galaxy on earth

photographer - Paulius Zaborskis
assistent - Kotryna Opanavičiūtė
clothing - H&M STUDIO AW 15

it was summer, it was June and it was long before H&M STUDIO autumn/winter collection could be found in stores all over the world. luckily (and thankfully to girls from H&M Lithuania), me and my beloved friend Toma (Fill The City) had a possibility to have a cheeky sneak peak and make a photoshoot with samples from the collection.
galaxy on earth - that's how I would name our interpretation. you probably remember the show in Paris during fashion week in March and the lunar landing type staging. we took those space inspired clothing pieces back to earth.

in a mood for cropped trousers

heels - Deichmann, top - Lindex, trousers - vintage

what can look better and more elegant than a bare ankle with a good heel.
although, wearing cropped trousers can be a mistake if you do it wrong.

follow these 10 tips to make it easier no to fail:
- choose the right length
- go for a high-waist
- avoid heavy shoes
- wear a cotton top or an oversized men's shirt for a day casual day look
- pick a share blouse for a glamorous evening outfit
- avoid cheep, clingy material
- stick to plain, straigh-leg versions (free of cuffs, bulky pockets, etc) to create the longest line possible
- classic turtle neck sweater is a perfect match for a chilly day
- experiment with color and be careful with patterns
- wear heels. always

the look of 20150831 | urban bohemian

jumpsuit - Lindex, shoes - Primark, clutch - handmade, jacket - vintage

summer is oficially over and I feel like there are only a few opportunities left to go for a cullote trend.
you already saw this jumpsuit in a post in dunes  from my holidays in Lithuania, so I wanted to show you how great this jumpsuit looks in a more urban background too. putting on a pair of heels and the right jacket makes all the work.

denim skirt and shoes - Zara
gold tusk necklace - Need Supply Co.
ball clutch - & other stories
turtle neck sweater - Lindex

this Monday I feel kind of playful and surprisingly in a mood for color. you might have noticed that I'm totally into fall, so you aren't going to hear any complaints about summer leaving. let's fill up our closets with turtlenecks!

looks for autumn _IV

pants - Kęstas Rimdžius for Decolte, sweater - 2nd hand

after an awesome relaxing Sunday I want to share with you this last outfit of my mini series.
this one is probably the most laid-out of all four. totally casual and totally comfy. once again I'm pairing summer pieces with heavier autumn clothing. these pants might not be the best choice for winter or late autumn but you can certainly go through September dressed like this.

in a mood for soft hands

this L'occitane hand cream is in my bag all the time, literally. even if I'm carrying a tiny clutch, I manage to fit it somewhere. properly nourished hands are very important to me and you just can't be apathetic to that lavender oil scent. perfection, perfection, perfection.

in a mood for yellow knit

even though I would say that black is my favorite and especially when it's dark and cold outside, there is a great chance that this season I'll be wearing much more clothing in color. I got the new Lindex lookbook a week ago and all I can think of now is this bright yellow turtle neck sweater, a perfect wardrobe staple for autumn.

hopefully very soon on lindex.com

the look of 20150801 | palette of the happiest colors

top - Debenhams, watch - Daniel Wellington, shoes - Primark, pants - 2nd hand

black is a happy color. it really is! especially when paired with bright pink lipstick which is my recent obsession. although I'm pretty sure I will get back to lush red as soon as first autumn leave falls down.

bra fitting at Sipsey Lingerie

photos by Donata Kukyte

..the door opens and two lovely ladies welcome you with smiling faces and a bottle of Prosecco. bubbles and lingerie - I knew I got to the right place.

you should remember the name Sipsey as I did a post about nightwear pieces from Sipsey Lingerie a few weeks ago. the same night I also did a professional bra fitting with the lovely Sukhy, the owner of the boutique.

if you haven't had a bra fitting before and wonder what is it like, the process is quite simple. a fitter will take you to a changing room and ask you to go down to your bra while she waits outside. she will ask you when you're ready for her to come in and then comes the process of determining your bra size. after that, the fitter brings a selection of bras for you to try. and once the bra is on, she will assess how it fits, looking at the position of the back band and fit of the cups, and adjusting the straps as necessary.

as you see, there's nothing extraordinary. however having been fitted by an expert and wearing the right bra makes a huge difference.
you might be sure you're wearing the right size but... around 80 percent of women don't. and apparently I was one of them too. I've done a bra fitting before but it was a while ago and even if I was pretty sure my size has not changed since then, it did.
for such a small item of clothing, bras can be the hardest to buy. that's why going to someone experienced is the best thing to do. and that is also my main advise on choosing the right bra.
color, pattern and especially trends are not the most important factors when talking about lingerie - a proper fit is what really matters. after all it's underneath your clothes most of the time, so if you (or your beloved) like that neon green - go on, you have the right!

Sipsey Lingerie boutique in Solihull also offers Bra Fitting Parties. call on 0121 704 3314, invite all your girlfriends and expect a fun and enjoyable night with a bra fitting expert on the side. champagne included, certainly.

all pieces available in store and online at sipseylingerie.com

holiday everyday

a bit of attention - that's all a girl needs. and oh well, a few pieces of clothing or accessories do no harm either. I was kindly surprised the other day when a courier knocked on my door with this huge box in his hands. inside there was the best summer greeting with a swimsuit from Holly & White collection, an ELLE magazine and a lovely beach bag which I'm going to show you later. a perfect combination for a perfect summer day!

the look of 20150703 | NIDA

dress - CLOTHO

photos - Fill The City

coming to Nida for a few days has become a must each summer. it's an exceptional place and I don't think that someone would argue about that.

such place surely requires an adequate outfit too. this silky dress from Decolte boutique is a perfect choice for summer holidays and perfectly matches the atmosphere here.

nightwear: cosy in sipsey

photos - Donata Kukyte

hey! I hope you all are as well as I am. back in my hometown, surrounded by my beloved family, listening to dreamy smooth jazz melodies and eating buckets of ice-cream in the sun. I call it rehab and that's exactly what I needed.

however it turns out that such environment isn't very blogger-friendly. the minute I come back home I completely forget about all social media profiles and electronic devices. but! I'm trying to solve this personal issue and here I am, sharing my thoughts about nightwear with you, guys.

how important is lounge wear / nightwear? for me (especially after spending three days at my parents house) both lounge wear and nightwear play a very significant part in my life.
you probably follow my blog, so you should know that my everyday style is not always very feminine. although, when it comes to nightwear, my romantic side wins over and silk, lace or flowery patterns are things I go for first.

couple of weeks ago I visited Sipsey Lingerie for an arranged personal bra fitting (the post will follow!). the boutique opened just a month ago however they started with a bang. a variety of quality lingerie brands, hosiery, shapewear and the most beautiful nightwear and lounge wear pieces - everything can be found in there.
as you see, during my visit I also tried on few pieces myself. cosy in Sipsey!

/ all items available at Sipsey Lingerie boutique 39 Drury Lane, Solihull /

..and that was pt. 1. the second part will be on blog in a while! get ready for some delicacy as the post will be about bra fitting and how to find that perfect one. I'm off to Nida now, so you can expect something more vacation related soon!

new in

I'm just in love with this new Bluebella bra from Sipsey Lingerie
more about this awesome lingerie boutique and tips for perfect bra fitting soon.
now I'm off to Lithuania, so stay tuned!

the look of 20150614 | ocean waves in the city

camisole top - Lindex, shoes - &other stories, trousers - DIY, flowy shirt - vintage, bag - Dune, watch - Daniel Wellington

photos by Blessy Gasagara

feeling sooo dreamy today! I have no idea if it's because I'm listening to this Maribou State album all morning or if it's because I'm leaving to Lithuania this Saturday.
this outfit I shot couple of days ago perfectly describes my mood today. flowy, melancholic and very fresh. like ocean waves, only in the city.

the look of 20150609 | batman

kimono - Lindex, watch - Daniel Wellington, heels - Deichmann, sunglasses - H&M, top - 2nd hand, trousers - COW vintage

I just couldn't resist buying these trousers with batman logos all over them - I didn't even bother to try them on. who knows what was on my mind that day (I don't) but since those logos are not very obvious, I'm actually wearing them!

take me to the beach

I talked about getting your closet beach-ready before and you can call this post a follow-up. since it's an actual summer, sandy beaches is all I can think of.

here are my favorite picks from Lindex online shop. this season they have so many cool swimwear pieces! I'm starting to feel pretty obsessed cause I feel a need to have like half of them.
however being reasonable I don't think having more than two different swimsuits are necessary. although you might want to have at least two because while it's always fun to bring some prints to the beach, I strongly believe a basic black bikini is essential in every girl's wardrobe.

pick your favorites and have fun at the beach!
